ACI Self‑Consolidating Concrete Testing Technician
1‑Day Course • 4 CPD Hours Available Upon Request
This program certifies technicians in five required ASTM test methods for self‑consolidating concrete:
- C1610 – Static Segregation
- C1611 – Slump Flow
- C1621 – Passing Ability (J‑Ring)
- C1712 – Penetration Test
- C1758 – Fabricating SCC Test Specimens
Ohio Concrete professionals provide a half‑day review, followed by the written and performance exams the same day.
Exams
Written Exam: 1 hour, ~50 questions | Must score 60%+ on each method and 70% overall
Performance Exam: Candidates must perform or verbally describe each required procedure
Certification is issued by ACI and valid for 5 years.
Cancellation Policy
- $15 processing fee applies
- Refunds available if canceled 7+ days prior
- No shows charged full fee
- No credits carried to the next year
- $15 late fee within 7 days of exam
- Classes may be canceled if enrollment is low
