ODOT inspections are being conducted by an updated inspection manual produced by Ohio DOT in October 2016 which encompass a few revisions. These are:
A minimum of 90% of the plant’s delivery units must be available for inspection at the scheduled plant inspection date. Other arrangements may be made with your District should the minimum not be available during the scheduled inspection date (reference page 1 and page 11).
Identification truck tags have replaced the truck inspection stickers. These issued tags are mounted to the driver’s side mirror (reference page 14).
Moisture meters section added. Verification of calibration not exceeding six months (reference page 7-8).
