Membership

Ohio Concrete has four membership categories:

  • Active – includes ready mixed concrete producers
  • Associate – includes cement manufacturers, admixture companies, engineering firms, laboratories and other suppliers to the concrete industry
  • Contractor – includes those who utilize concrete to create an end product such as paving, flatwork, buildings, etc. or
  • Paving Contractor/Road Builder – includes those that perform concrete paving, pavement restoration, and specialty contractors who build or repair pavements/roads
  • Concrete Futures – includes existing members who are between ages of 21-40

 

Active Members

Ohio Concrete Active Members include ready mixed concrete producers.

Dues are based on 5 year average of cubic yards produced in Ohio.

Active members receive a number of services including regulatory consulting services, engineering and technical services, discounts on certification and educational programs and more.

Associate Members

Ohio Concrete Associate Members include cement manufacturers, admixture companies, engineering firms, laboratories and other suppliers to the concrete industry.

Associate member dues are structured into three categories:

  • Cement, Fly Ash and Admixture companies
    $2,000 per year
  • Manufacturing, Aggregate, Transportation and Fiber companies
    $1,200 per year
  • Service Providers
    $950 per year

Associate members receive a number of services including regulatory consulting services, engineering and technical services, discounts on certification and educational programs and more.

Contractor Members

Ohio Concrete Contractor membership includes those who utilize concrete to create an end product such as paving, flatwork, buildings, etc.

Dues are based on the amount of revenue generated from concrete operations in Ohio.

Paving Contractor/Road Builder

Ohio Concrete Paving Contractors consist of those that pave: highways, airports, streets, roads, industrial and parking areas. Concrete pavement restoration contractors that restore concrete pavements by: patching, stabilizing, diamond grinding, joint/crack resealing and retrofitting dowel bars and reinforcing. Contractors and pavement specialty contractors that build or repair: cement stabilized bases, shoulders, barriers and bridges may also fall within the Ohio Concrete Paving Contractor membership category.

Dues are based on a contractor’s work volume.

Concrete Futures

A Start towards becoming one of The concrete industry’s leaders of tomorrow

Since 1986, the Concrete Futures has offered an opportunity for the youth of Ohio Concrete to come together as a self-supporting associated group to exchange ideas, concerns and issues common to the ready mixed concrete industry.

Membership Requirements

  • Between 21-40 years of age
  • Employed by an Ohio Concrete member company
  • Annual Dues of $50
