Ohio Concrete is a statewide trade association established in 1938 that supports the concrete construction industry through advocacy, technical support, member services, education, and certification programs. We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations, coordinate key programs, and help deliver high-quality experience for members, staff, and industry partners.
This is a full-time, in-office position based in Columbus, Ohio, with regular business hours of Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
What You’ll Do
- Support daily office operations and provide administrative assistance to staff, executives, and the Board of Directors.
- Coordinate the association’s certification program and assist with planning, logistics, and member communication.
- Respond to member inquiries, manage incoming calls, greet visitors, and help maintain a professional and welcoming office environment.
- Maintain membership records, assist with directory updates, process payments, and support internal coordination across programs and events.
- Provide administrative support for programs, events and meetings ensuring successful execution.
- Foster positive relationships with members, sponsors, and industry stakeholders.
- Manage online surveys, registrations, and digital communications.
What You Bring
- Experience in an administrative, office support, or coordinator role, with strong organization and follow-through.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and comfort learning office systems, processes, and administrative tools. Experience with databases, CRM, or Association Management Systems (AMS) is a plus.
- A customer-service mindset and a professional approach to supporting members, colleagues, and external partners.
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant business, communications, nonprofit management experience is a plus.
