Quality in the Concrete Paving
Process Workshop

February 15, 2012 - Columbus, OH

The Federal Highway Administration is offering a FREE workshop on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 to highway agencies and the private sector covering the benefits of a good Quality Assurance program and how it can be used to increase the longevity of concrete pavements.

The seminar will be held at the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Central Office - Lower Level Auditorium located at 1980 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43223, from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.

This is not a workshop about the details of Quality Assurance. It is a practical overview of what leads to increased quality with real world examples based on input from state DOTs, academia, industry representatives and contractors.

This workshop, offered through LTAP, is intended for local agency employees (municipal, county and township), state DOT personnel, FHWA Personnel, engineering consultants, contractors and materials suppliers, technicians, and others involved in the QA process for construction of concrete pavements.

Registrations are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. There is no charge to attend, but you must be pre-registered by Monday, February 13th. No meals will be provided (a cafeteria is available on the premises).

For further information, including reasonable accommodations (i.e. mobility, access), contact Ohio LTAP at 1-877-800-0031.
