Ready-mix Network |
The Ladies Educational and Ready-mix Network (L.E.A.R.N.) is
the latest affiliate group of the Ohio Ready Mixed Concrete
Association (ORMCA) geared toward the women of the concrete
industry.

The group
started as a vision of four women who saw the need for
women within the concrete industry to network, exchange
ideas and concerns.
Lisa Weaver, Ernst Enterprises, Inc. (Dayton, OH);
Kellie Jensen, Cn'C Concrete (Toledo, OH); Blanche
Davidson, Lafarge North America (Cleveland, OH); and
Bobbie Williams, Moraine Materials Company (Franklin,
OH) brought the idea to the Association in the summer of
2005. Less than six months later they had a
meeting scheduled and an agenda planned that would
feature successful women in the Ohio concrete industry.

LUNCH
& L.E.A.R.N
There will be a L.E.A.R.N. luncheon hosted at TesTech's
new facility, The Galleria, in Dayton, OH on Thursday,
May 8th from 11 am - 1 pm. Mark your calendar and
plan to attend this luncheon that will feature a
presentation on testing from Sheila Sennet, TesTech's
Laboratory Operations Manager, and a tour of the testing
facility.
