The 2010 Concrete Futures Summer Meeting
will be held on Friday, August 6th through Sunday, August
8th in Cleveland, OH. We are encouraging all Futures to
attend and bring a friend or potential Concrete Futures
Member in an effort to boost membership.
The meeting will begin on Friday night with
check-in after 3-pm at the Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The
Arcade.
Set within a historic landmark, Hyatt
Regency Cleveland at The Arcade is the perfect starting
point to experience all the best Cleveland has to offer. The
downtown Cleveland hotel offers an ideal location across
from the East 4th Entertainment District and is just blocks
from major sporting arenas that house the Cleveland
Cavaliers and the Cleveland Indians.
Friday night activities will be on your own.
You will have the opportunity to check out
the nearby Entertainment District or take in a Cleveland
Indians Game.
The Cleveland Indians will take on the
Minnesota Twins at 7:05 pm at Progressive Field. Tickets may
be purchased through ORMCA in advance for $50, included with
full registration. These tickets will allow you entrance to
the Bud Light Deck featuring an unlimited buffet and Pepsi
products pregame thru one hour after first pitch and also
access to a private cash bar.
On Saturday, not too early in the morning,
the meeting will kick off with a golf outing at Sleepy
Hollow Golf Course in Brecksville, OH. Tee time is 10 am.
Group will meet in the hotel lobby at 9:30 am to carpool to
course.
Following golf on Saturday evening, get
ready for a night of bowling and fun in the fast lane at the
Corner Alley.
The Corner Alley is the ultimate
entertainment experience. Featuring 16 lanes of bowling, two
sleek bars and the stylish 4th Street Bar &Grill restaurant,
The Corner Alley is the only place in Cleveland where can
you bowl and sip martinis while enjoying time out with
friends or dine on classic comfort foods in a fun, upscale
atmosphere.
The Concrete Futures will have 4 private
lanes reserved for bowling from 8 - 10 pm along with a VIP
cash bar and a billiard table.
Make plans to attend and bring a friend!
Concrete Futures membership is significantly
down. In the past year we have lost 50 members. In an effort
to get some more members we are offering a 10%discount off

attendees. In addition, if you know of a person between the
ages of 21 and 40 invite them to attend the Concrete Futures
Summer Meeting and encourage them to become a member.
